In May of this year we visited the town of Kumasi, Ghana. Interesting city, about half a million people lives there. The city is known for its market, which is the largest market in Ghana and on which goods are brought from all over the country. There are many banks and they are located in the most beautiful buildings. The rest of the city consists of private houses which are built usually of plywood or boards. Sometimes these houses are very small and do not even have windows. This is certainly surprising.
But the impression is smoothed by abundance of vegetation. Kumasi is a real garden city. Right on the streets grow bananas, palms, mango, papaya, orange trees, cacao trees, cassava and simply beautiful and unusual trees. Banana gardens are very popular, as a rule they adjoin the wealthier homes. Directly in the city you can see the mango and orange farms. Everyone in Ghana knows that Kumasi is a place of the fascinating, flourishing trees and plants. We have never seen before such a green city!

Paper containers for flowers are good-looking and ecological. Underneath the text are the hyacinths in a pot, made of recycled paper. Heavy-duty stitching and colourful buttons are used to give it an attractive style. These pots are eco-friendly, they are light and funny.

Talking about the weather and snow in Chelyabinsk, this winter is extraordinary severe. Because of the intense cold with -30 almost all the last 15 days travel in the city was and remains quite complicated. On this photo you can estimate the amount of snow and my tulips brought from Holland (very small yet ):
Xcaret Tour is the most famous in Mexico and at the Caribbean islands amusement park. To write about the park is meaningless, you have to feel the park with all organs of sense. Where else can you see how butterflies are born (not to mention the incubator for parrots and quail)? And so many butterflies in one place, flying to the accompaniment of music!
Preparation for the meeting with butterflies is almost a ritual. First of all, you’ll see (and every time surprisingly!) a lot of other exotics – parrots, flamingos, jaguars, turtles and so on.
Then you will pass through the greenhouse with orchids, where smells merge with the background music in there. Then you will float by the Indian raft in the silence of a cozy canyon. Then, in a vest and fins, you will go with the stream of underwater river. Then you will find yourself in the world of corals and fishes. And the last attraction is butterflies!
