Old trees in the province of Gelderland

In the province of Gelderland has been found the oldest acacia of Holland, which is nearly 400 years old. This tree is carefully guarded, there’s a sign of how old it is and what history it has. In general dutch people take care of each tree and it is very common to see trees that are 200-300 years old: acacias, poplars, beechs, oaks, etc.

Old oak tree is an undoubted attraction of the landscape Verwolde in the province of Gelderland, Netherlands. This oak is also recognized as the largest oak of  The Netherlands. de-dikste-eik-van-holland-2
